- Software development: Developed VB.NET/XML/SQL database utilities and training material
for the help desk to maintain globally deployed custom developed production
and test lab software integrity. Translated Visual Basic script, T-SQL
script, to VB.NET with XML data management. Converted VB.NET to
C#(C-Sharp).NET and vice versa. Managed custom financial transaction software
source code and configured base code for the banking industry.
- Database management: With OSQL
command line utility, T-SQL scripts and personally developed VB and
C#.NET/XML utilities. Provided the customer support department with tools to
maintain bank branch specific information, customer transaction record
database, software configuration database and custom proprietary software
user security database for globally deployed bank branches.
- Reporting: Primary developer for
emerging Crystal reports and extraction code driven by evolving business and
reporting needs.
- Government: Technical consultant to
the Department of Energy advanced weapons department to help develop a
counter terrorism virtual LAN that ensured timely sharing of critical secure
information among state and federal government agencies.
- Financial: Team lead for escalation
support and primary maintenance programmer for national and global custom
developed banking software. Technical advisor to the development team for
network related development of emerging technology.
- Management: Directed and trained a
team of 26 technicians comprised of state and federal employees and military
servicemen to maintain a nationally deployed virtual private network and
custom developed data mining and communication software.
- Infrastructure: Network
engineer for a diverse team of IT professionals tasked with developing and
deploying a FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standard) compliant private
LAN, with Cisco VPN hardware and Windows 2000/2003 server software.
- Quality control: Served on
the quality control team to ensure software production integrity through
proper documentation, change control, network traffic regulation and active
directory monitoring. Reviewed, tested and rewrote existing Crystal
reports database extraction code and configuration to work seamlessly with
new application code.
- Risk Management: As the
private sector representative on the New Mexico Surety Task force helped
develop the New Mexico Counter Terrorism Risk Management training material
and assisted in the state wide vulnerability assessments.
